Mark your calendars for Saturday, March 30, for this year’s annual Egg Hunt, presented by the Sandpoint Lions Club. Always held the Saturday before Easter, the hunt begins at 9am sharp, rain or shine (or snow) at Lakeview Park (901 Ontario Street), so be sure to get there early! Kids will once again have the chance to win one of several prizes, with eight bikes as well as skateboards, scooters and other age-appropriate riding toys. Be sure to check your eggs before you leave to see if you’ll walk away one of the lucky winners!
“Our favorite part of our traditional Egg Hunt is watching the excitement on each kid's face as they hunt for eggs,” shares Janice Rader, Sandpoint Lions Club president. “Easter is the best part of spring. You can tell that the kids (and parents) are excited to get out and visit with their neighbors.”
The Sandpoint Lions Club will provide hot cocoa, and Evans Brothers Coffee will provide the coffee.
