The Bonner County Fair runs Tuesday through Saturday, August 18-22, at the fairgrounds on North Boyer Road. A Bonner County tradition since 1927, the fair includes livestock shows, 4-H exhibits, home economics displays, fruit and vegetable contests, food vendors, children’s activities, arena events, and live entertainment.

July 4, 2026 | Downtown Sandpoint & Sandpoint City Beach The Sandpoint Lions Club hosts the town's Independence Day celebration on Saturday, July 4. The Children's Parade kicks off at 9:30 am downtown, followed by the Grand Parade at 10 am. Festivities then move to Sandpoint City Beach for food, drinks, raffles, and family activities throughout the afternoon. The story follows John Adams, Benjamin Franklin, and Thomas Jefferson through the debates that shaped the Declaration of Independence.
