The Bonner County Fair runs Tuesday through Saturday, August 18-22, at the fairgrounds on North Boyer Road. A Bonner County tradition since 1927, the fair includes livestock shows, 4-H exhibits, home economics displays, fruit and vegetable contests, food vendors, children’s activities, arena events, and live entertainment. Competitive categories include dairy and beef cattle, sheep, swine, poultry, rabbits, and field crops, as well as clothing, needlework, and baking competitions. The fairgrounds sit just north of downtown Sandpoint at the foot of the Selkirk Mountains. Schedules and exhibitor information are posted online.
