IdaHOPE Classic happens June 20 to benefit Community Resource EnVision Center By Jillian Chandler | Photo by The Valley Studio
If you’re looking to be part of a fun event on an amazing course for an important cause, then you won’t want to miss The IdaHOPE Classic. 2022 marks the second year of this fundraising event, benefiting the Community Resource EnVision Center, and is scheduled for Monday, June 20, at The Idaho Club.
“We chose The Idaho Club as it fits with our vision of ‘special’ event. It is a wonderful site for many reasons,” says Becca Orchard, Community Resource EnVision Center (CREC) executive board member. “Bill Haberman has generously offered the course to us, so that all golfer donations go to CREC; the club receives none of the proceeds.” At the inaugural event, they raised over $60,000—and that is the goal again this year.
“Our biggest challenge is identifying major sponsors who can make a powerful difference in net proceeds,” states Becca, and she was excited to share that they’ve already secured this year’s Title Sponsor for the tournament: AGP Wealth Advisors.
In addition to the golf tournament, participants can look forward to a wonderful dinner and signature cocktails, complimentary cigars, silent auction, fun games and challenges, and knowing that their participation is giving back to the local community! For those who would like to attend but not participate in the golf portion of the event, you can! For $40, you can enjoy dinner and participate in the after-golf contests, raffle and silent auction.
As Becca affirms, the most important reason to sign up is to support an important service in the community: Community Resource EnVision Center. “This is our only major fundraiser and brings in vital funds necessary to keep the center thriving. Through the generosity of sponsors and golfers, we will be able to expand services this year to help more people connect and find the help they need in our community.” Register online at Events.GolfStatus.com and search for "The IdaHOPE Classic," or contact Becca Orchard at 208.304.2875 or beccaorchard@gmail.com.
