Founded by husband-and-wife team Jodie and Wes Chapman, this North Idaho-based studio has grown far beyond its roots in Ponderay. Their work now spans across Texas, Arizona, Montana, Tennessee, Florida, and, of course, Idaho—proving that creativity has no borders.

LOFT THIRTY ONE is known for its “dirt to décor” approach, designing everything from custom homes to standout commercial spaces. Whether building from the ground up or reimagining a single room, their process is collaborative and detail-driven, always starting with listening and then dreaming big.

One standout project? The Big House—a 27,000-square-foot Arizona estate complete with a hidden speakeasy, underground shooting range, and custom design throughout. It broke real estate records, but for Jodie, the reward was the creative freedom and strong client connection. “That project was wild,” she says, “but it’s always about the relationships.”

Back in Ponderay, the showroom reflects their well-blended style—sparkling chandeliers, rich textures, bold moments, and unexpected finds that spark inspiration.

What many don’t realize? LOFT THIRTY ONE is also a one-stop shop for materials and finishes. From flooring and tile to cabinets, lighting, hardware, and plumbing fixtures, they support residential and commercial projects of all sizes and budgets. Whether clients need a single piece or a full plan, the team meets them where they are.

So, what’s inspiring the team now? “Timeless design with heart,” says Jodie. “Natural materials, aged woods, cozy leathers, and bold textures that invite you to settle in.” Think backlit onyx, color-drenched rooms, statement ceilings, and sculptural hardware—all layered with intention.

With new story-driven projects on the horizon, LOFT THIRTY ONE is just getting started—building beauty from the ground up, with heart, grit, and a little sparkle.
