North Idaho College Foundation’s Really BIG Raffle Returns

The annual fundraiser offers major prizes while supporting NIC students

This year’s Really BIG Raffle grand prize is more than a giveaway. It’s a brand-new home valued at over $550,000 in Greenstone Homes’ desirable North Place community in Post Falls.

Offering 2,033 square feet of living space, the beautiful 3-bedroom, 2-bath home features an open-concept layout with vaulted ceilings, a cozy gas fireplace, and a spacious chef’s kitchen with quartz countertops. The great room opens to a large covered back patio, ideal for entertaining, while the private primary suite includes a spa-like bathroom, a walk-in closet, and convenient access to the laundry room.

Located near Prairie Falls Golf Club and just five minutes from the freeway, North Place also offers paved trails, parks, and open green space, making this an incredible place to call home. The grand prize home also serves as a learning resource for North Idaho College’s construction-related programs.

The home is part of the North Idaho College (NIC) Foundation’s 33rd annual Really BIG Raffle, a community fundraiser that gives participants the chance to win major prizes while supporting local students.

As the NIC Foundation’s largest annual public fundraiser, it supports student success and educational excellence.

“The NIC Foundation is proud to invest in North Idaho College students, programs, and services,” shares Rayelle Anderson, Executive Director of the NIC Foundation. “The Really BIG Raffle is a key initiative that, with every ticket sold, directly impacts the lives of deserving NIC students.”

1st Prize: A new 2026 vehicle valued at $32,000

2nd Prize: A $2,000 home furnishings gift certificate

3rd Prize: A Schweitzer gift certificate worth $1,500

Tickets are now on sale for $150 each, and only 5,000 will be sold. “Tickets have sold out every year for the last 32 years,” reminds Kaelynn, Fundraising and Events Coordinator of the NIC Foundation. “So don’t wait to get yours!”

Don’t miss out on the Early Bird opportunity. Those who order their tickets before the April 30, 2026, Early Bird deadline will automatically be entered for a chance to win the Early Bird prizes: two $1,000 Costco gift cards.

Tickets can be purchased at community outlets such as all Super 1 Foods in Kootenai County and Sandpoint, Post Falls Yoke’s Fresh Market, Watson’s Market in Osburn, the NIC Workforce Training Center in Post Falls, and the NIC Foundation office in Coeur d’Alene. Live Virtual Drawing July 8, 2026

The live virtual drawing will take place at 7 pm PST on Wednesday, July 8, 2026. The link to watch the virtual event will be posted on the Really BIG Raffle website during the week of the drawing. Visit NIC.edu/rbr to watch the live drawing. A third-party auditor from a certified accounting firm will randomly select winners. Names of winners will also be listed on the website and on a recording at 208.769.3271 after the drawing.

The NIC Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, remains dedicated to empowering students and strengthening education. Thanks to community support, the Foundation awarded nearly $1.4 million in scholarships and $239,000 in program enrichment funds during the 2024–25 academic year.
