Alpine Shop
What started as a small ski rental shop to service the newly opened Schweitzer Ski Resort has grown into a year-round business of outfitting fun. Today, Alpine Shop is one of the largest full-service Marine and Snow Sport Outfits in the Inland Northwest. They have two retail locations: one in the heart of beautiful downtown Sandpoint, and the other in the village at Schweitzer Mountain Resort. Bird Aviation Museum and Invention Center
The Bird Aviation Museum and Invention Center educates visitors about the historic contributions of aviators and innovators who have helped create modern technology. The Bird Aviation Museum and Invention Center was founded by Dr. Forrest Bird, inventor of the medical respirator, and wife Pam in 2007. Located in Sagle about 17 miles southeast of Sandpoint off Sagle Road on Bird Ranch Road. Open year-round Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Saturday from mid-May to mid-October. Chafe 150 Grand Fondo

Festival at Sandpoint
Held during the first week of August, the non-profit Festival at Sandpoint has hosted its internationally renowned summer concert series in a casual and relaxed atmosphere at Memorial Field, in Sandpoint, Idaho. The Festival is audience friendly. It is a customized concert experience without equal. You can feast on fabulous food and beverages on "Festival Street," or bring your own picnic basket and cooler from home.
